Counter staff was particularly efficient. We arrived at the facility with two other families, and rather than make us wait in a line, their three staff served each of us simultaneously-- at a desk where we could sit down. Quick, easy, and friendly.

Mode is a local car rental company in New Zealand. The vehicle condition is average but very affordable. Booking online in advance makes the pickup process very quick, and for returns, the deposit is refunded immediately after on-site confirmation. Overall, the experience was great.

The service was average. During the return process, there was no one to provide guidance, which made me feel a bit helpless. The staff had a cold attitude and left after receiving the keys.

Satisfied with both pick-up and drop-off processes. Upon arriving at the return location, staff came over to inspect the car. Since there were no issues, they took the car keys, and the deposit was refunded the next day. The interior of the vehicle was clean, but the exterior was relatively dirty and hadn't been washed.

The car rental process was fairly smooth. The car provided was not a Corolla but a small Kia SUV. The car was quite compact, and the trunk couldn't fit large suitcases. Luckily, with fewer people, the back seats could be folded down to accommodate the luggage. The staff miscalculated the rental time by one extra day during the paperwork, and paying with cash on-site was a bit inconvenient.

This is a very reputable rental car company. We added an additional driver when picking up the car, and the company charged an extra 18 NZD, which is normal.

I was genuinely surprised at how easy everything was. The counter staff had me in the car in less than 10mins and the car was terrific! Drop off was so easy too and allowed my family and I to focus all our energy on more important things.

I was expecting the smallest car, but had what I'd describe as a small SUV. It was easy to navigate city streets, roomy for my purposes and comfortable. Pick up and drop off were easy.

Upon arrival at the airport, contacted the company by phone. They instructed us to wait at a specific location in the hall. In about 10 minutes, someone came with a sign to pick us up and took us to the car outside. We got to the rental point quickly, the car was new with low mileage and full insurance coverage. Staff were polite and professional.
