The new facility is located approximately 5 minutes driving distance from the airport, where customers will be welcomed in modern facilities designed to provide an improved rental experience. Transportation to the New Location An airport-operated shuttle bus will run every 15 minutes between Keflavík International Airport and the new branch. After exiting customs, customers will find clear signage directing them to the designated shuttle bus stop located just outside the terminal. Shuttle operating hours: 05:30 – 17:30 daily For existing reservations with pick-up times outside these operating hours, customers will be assisted by Hertz at Keflavík International Airport.

The wait time to pick up the car was ~45 minutes. Other than that I have no complaints, the vehicle was as described, it performed well.

The rented vehicle was quite new and drove smoothly during snowy conditions without any sudden issues. If you're unfamiliar with the environment, it's advised to purchase additional insurance. Our car door swung open in a hurricane, hit the front, and broke the hinge (didn't expect the wind to be that strong). Thankfully, we had additional insurance which lowered the basic compensation to a minimum.
