Pick-up Instructions

If arriving from a flight please follow signs from the arrivals hall in T1 / T2 and T3 for the car rental centre. You will be directed to a bus station, from here a courtesy shuttle operates every 10 minutes to the car rental centre. This service runs 24 hours a day. Terminal 2 will operate an on demand service, please press the call button, located in the car rental bus station to summon the driver. The transfer from the terminal to the car rental offices will take no more than ten minutes by the complimentary bus service provided.

    After a long haul overnight flight I was horrified to find almost 20 people in front of me waiting to collect a car. The process took almost 1.5 hours. The staff were polite but there were just 3 people working and a wait of this length was extremely frustrating and totally unacceptable. Poor show and very unprofessional for an international company.

    The wait was TWO HOURS to get the pre-booked and pre-paid car. It was baking hot and I had a baby and a small child with me. The staff did not acknowledge the wait or apologise for it. I made a note, whilst in the queue, never to use Europcar again. All other rental car providers had more staff and no lines. Horrible, horrible, experience!
