The National - Samui Airport car rental location is in terminal

You can walk to the counter of National - Samui Airport car rental.

When you get through from the baggage area please turn right and you will see National Counter right away. Our staff will accompany the customer to the parking area. The out-of- hour service fee is 428THB and there will be staffs showing how to pickup or return cars .

Driver's License Requirements

The main driver and any additional drivers will need to provide a physical full driver's license in their name with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 1 year(s).

For foreign renters, you need to bring:

Domestic License + IDP

Please note that the IDP(International Driving Permit) is only a translation and you must bring your original driving licence with you.

For local renters, you need to bring:

Full Driving License issued in Thailand

Had to wait a bit as there was another customer ahead of us in the queue when we were picking up the car but the staff were very courteous and tried hard to speed things up once it was our turn. The car was pretty new with around 5,000km on the clock so that was a nice surprise as we are used to getting older high mileage cars when we have opted for the fully insured package. Returning the car was a bit confusing but that was more the setup of the Koh Samui airport rather than National itself. Many thanks! P/S: the 10,000 Baht deposit taken on your credit card at the point of pick-up will take 2 weeks to be refunded so be aware that is the case!
