Depending on which countries to bring the rental cars to, policies differ:
Brazil
The cross border to Brazil is restricted for traveling only to Foz do Iguaçu. Cross border requests should be submitted together with a copy of the driver's passport and driving license with at least 96 working hours prior the date of rental.

Not allowed:

Taking rental cars to the countries that are not listed in Allowed, Conditional is not allowed.
