    Terrible experience and total rip off Merchants by charging extra car insurance and £200 for road tolls. Too late to question bill as we had a flight to catch, but absolutely no way we drove through £200 worth of tolls! Disgusting and please be aware that this company is not based at the airport as stated!

    Lexus IS 300h. I rented an Audi, but Surprice does not have any Audi, or VW, or BMW, or Mercedes. The Lexus has less space for passengers and luggage than the Audi I wanted, and burns through gasoline at an astonishing rate. 400€ over 2 weeks.

    It was not a good experience overall. I was asked to deposit €2500 because i didn’t want to buy insurance from them. I have insurance for rent a car from my insurance and from my visa. Plus we have to wait 30 min to get picked up from airport. Terrible overall

    I explained to the staff that my flight was delayed by an hour and would appreciate it if they could speed up the process as my mother was seriously ill in hospital and myself and my sister were to go straight to the hospital, the Counter staff were rude and appeared to take longer than usual to go through the procedure and then gave me the wrong class of car, a Toyota aygo instead of a fiat 500L, when I queried this I was told it must be the right car. The vehicle fuel tank was only 5/8 full when it was meant to be full which meant I gave the car back with more fuel as it was hard to gauge 5/8. Worst experience with a car rental company I've ever had.

    The people at the pick up desk are rude and we wasted a lot of time at the office. Information as to where to wait for pickup was not clear and when I tried calling the number provided, there was no answer. It took a while before figuring out where to wait for pick up.
