Overall not bad, but the condition report for pickup and return didn't match the actual situation, and the staff filled it out casually.

It was our first time renting from Alamo. The process was quick, we didn't have to wait in line. The staff was very professional and friendly. We crossed borders into Bosnia, Serbia, and Montenegro over 22 days. The rental company charged us a 50 Euro border fee. We met other travelers who were charged 60 Euros for crossing just one border. Alamo seems more reasonable. Towards the end, we scratched the car door at a guesthouse. It was a big scratch but didn't need bodywork, just paint. We talked to the staff about insurance, but they said it was fine, no need to worry about it.

This was our first time renting from Alamo. The procedures were quick, there was no queue when we arrived, and the staff were very courteous and professional. Others we met on the road said they were charged 60 euros for crossing just one country. Alamo seems to be more reasonable. Towards the end of our trip, we scratched the car door at a guesthouse. It was a noticeable scratch but didn't require panel beating, just some paintwork. We spoke with the staff when returning the car, and they said it was no big deal and not to worry about it.

We waited a long time for someone to assist us when returning the car. Eventually, a foreigner nearby told us to go to the rental hall to find the counter to return the car.
