Pick-up Instructions

The BARGAIN - Gold Coast - Airport car rental location is located out of the airport

Pick Up: Once you have collected your luggage, please call 1300 729 230 (for international customers call +61 3 6165 0838) and follow the prompts for shuttle bus pick up. Please exit the terminal, turn left and make your way to the “coach pick up area” located on the left side of the International Arrivals gate. Please allow up to 20 minutes for shuttle to arrive. Drop Off: Please return the vehicle to our depot located at 2/57-61 Ourimbah Road, Tweed Heads. We will shuttle you back to the airport.

The main driver and any additional drivers must provide a full physical driving licence with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 1 year(s).

For foreign renters, you need to bring:

Please note that an International Driving Permit (IDP) is only a translation. You must present your original driving licence together with the original IDP at the counter — photocopies or scanned copies are not accepted.

Original South Korea Driving License (English version)

An English translation must be provided on the back of the driver's license.

Original driving licence + NAATI Translation

The translation of the driver's license certified by the Australian Translation and Accreditation Institute (NAATI) can be used to rent a car and drive in Australia.

Learner drivers and provisional and probationary licence holders are not acceptable and must not drive the Vehicle. If you are holding a local driver's license and a first time renter with BARGAIN, you are required to provide a valid debit card or credit card linked to an address, as well as at least two address proof.

For local renters, you need to bring:

    Like: Car was clean & free from any major damage.
    Dislike: Website says full to full fuel. But on arrival 3/4 to 3/4 was the deal, some may find it hard to get the level correct. Would find full to full an easier.

    Dislike: After landing I had a number to call Reddy Shuttles to deliver us to our car pickup,the guy who answered was not helpful at all,I was later to find out they are just in front of where we picked up the rental,why did he refuse to pick us up?

    Car ran rough - sounded and ran as if it was stuck in a lower gear all the time and ended up consuming an excessive amount of fuel. A car this small should get better than 40 MPG. I was lucky if i got 25-30 MPG maximum. Plus, the front tires were close to being bald. Also, if you have an early morning flight, before 7:00am out of Gold Coast Airport, you are out of luck getting to the airport from rental return as nobody is there before 7:00am to take you to airport, unless you want to pay $35 shuttle fee.
