If there are no Hertz employees at the Hertz counter at time of pick-up, please use the self-service kiosk. This guide applies to the following scenarios: If the counter is unattended or the business hours have ended when you arrive at the rental office, you can use the Hertz self-service kiosk to complete the car pickup process independently. No out-of-hours service fee is charged if you use the Kiosk self-service machine to pick up or return vehicles outside business hours. 1. Self-Service Car Pickup Process 1. On the kiosk homepage, se1ect 'Pickup Rental Car'. 2. Enter the Confirmation No. (usually starting with a English letter and followed by numbers) from your rental voucher. 3. Follow the prompts to scan your driver's license and complete the verification process until you receive the keys. For specific instructions on scanning your driver's license, refer to the 'Driver's License Scanning Instructions' below. If the system cannot recognize your license, refer to the 'Manual Verification Process' below. 4. After obtaining the keys, proceed to the parking lot to pick up your car. 2. Driver's License Scanning Instructions Please follow these steps to complete the scanning: 1. Open the scanner cover. 2. Place your driver's license with the photo side facing up into the scanning area. 3. Close the cover and wait for the machine to scan automatically. 3. Manual Verification Process (Applicable to Certain Licenses) If your driver's license (e.g., a Chinese driver's license) cannot be recognized, proceed with manual verification: 1. Call the phone number displayed on the kiosk to connect with a representative. 2. Align yourself with the camera on the kiosk and follow the representative's instructions to complete the driver's license verification. 3. Provide the representative with the location name code displayed after 'The name of this location is' on the kiosk interface for faster processing.

Drop-off Instructions

Please follow the instruction to designated parking lot and drop off your car. Out of hours return is available for all vehicle groups.
