The main driver and any additional drivers must provide a full physical driving licence with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 1-2 year(s).

The car boot came with this metal bar that is as long as the width of the car. We had lots of luggage hence needed the space. In the end we had to put the metal bar in an awkward position. We wanted to leave with the rental site, they said we need to pay deposit if EUR500.. it’s strange and very weird.

A map showing where the car is located would really help we spent ages lookING for the car. Although my fault I was so busy looking up at numbers that I missed a step by the lifts and pushed my father in the wheelchair over the step (although it has a tape it is faded and if looking up is very easy to miss) and he fell out and banged his head. Why does the alamo sector have a reverse numbering scheme to the rest of the whole parking lot.

In the Czech Republic, I was stopped by the police and fined for not having a highway toll sticker (available in 10-day, 1-month options, etc.), even though I had informed the rental company of my trip to the country and paid extra fees. Very satisfied, there was no queue when we rented the car. The receptionist was a male salesman with a ponytail, he was very enthusiastic and efficient. He even helped us drive the car to the door outside the counter. Although he wasn't there when we returned the car, another staff member helped us park the car back in the parking lot. The service throughout was excellent!

Really good experience. The Alamo counter at Munich Airport was excellent—super efficient and the staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in and paperwork were handled really fast. They’d run out of the VW Passat I originally booked, so I paid a bit extra to upgrade to a 5 Series Touring. Totally worth it, it drove great.
