Pick-up and drop-off are both at Europcar. At first we couldn’t find the exact pick-up spot, but the staff at the return location sorted it out and handed over the car there. The car itself was in good condition and the staff were really friendly. Europcar has been solid for me – I’ve rented with them in the UK, Australia and Turkey and always feel pretty confident using them.

Rented a car for 11 days and it was honestly great. First off, they didn’t try to push any extra insurance or add-ons. Then they upgraded my car, and it turned out to be almost brand new with only about 500 km on it. Returning the car was super quick too — they did a quick walk-around, said everything was fine, and I was done in under 10 minutes. The deposit refund was impressively fast, it hit my account the next day. I checked the breakdown and the difference matched the highway tolls exactly, so there were no hidden charges. I’d originally been worried about surprise fines or penalties, but there were none.
