Counter staff hard sell on upgrade and insurance

They sold me insurance I never needed or asked for. They called it deposit but never paid the money back. I have private insurance. The affirmed They will pay the money back after dropping off the car. In front of witnesses. It’s a fraud.

They said 75 euros for full car insurance so I agreed but ended up charging me 220 for 2 days car rental. Total exploitation never rent with gold car again in my life. I thought the 220 was for holding amount on my credit card

I was happy with the service and the car. However, there was an extra unexpected charge when I collected the car. It wasn’t clear what this was for as it was suggested it was for airport taxes, but EasyRentCars stated all taxes and fees were included.

1 hour queue at the airport desk. Attempted to sell additional insurance Card machine took 3 attempts to take the 1230Euro deposit. Deposit taken twice from our credit card. No reply to any phone calls or e-mails we sent to the Goldcar Fuerta ventura office. Even their head office did not deal with our complaint.
