The counter staff member was very helpful and friendly. The only things I would suggest would be to make sure that renters are fully familiar with the controls. As I hired a 4x4 it took me a while to understand when I was in 4 shell dri e and when I wasn't.

The car I got was good and with the winter tyres I specifically wanted. I even got tyre socks too.

Only one member of staff on during a busy time led to long queueing time and then when arrived, had run out of the vehicle type I'd paid for. Had the option of an electric car or a minivan.

There was a bit of waiting as one person was service and the customer before me had booking issues and wrong card. But when it was my turn every thing went quick and smooth.

All good very easy to select a car for a reasonable price.

Pick and drop off were very fast and easy

At the collection for the car there was no upselling and no mention of insurance, which could have saved us a lot of money

Pros: They pick you up in the car you rent. They properly document any vehicle damages and remind you to do the same. The pickup process was fairly quick and easy. Condition of the car was fine. Cons: When you arrive, you are surprised by cleaning and another fee. While they are probably in some print somewhere, they were not obvious through the booking process. When returning the car, they expect you to fill the gas tank to a fraction, not full. It is a pain and would be much easier if the car had a full tank of gas when you got it and had to be returned that way. When we returned the car, the refund of the deposit to our credit card failed completely. They said the option is to do a wire transfer, which according to the internet is sketchy.

The website is good. We will possibly use it again if it has the best price. We did not end up needing customer service for anything, so I can't speak about that.

Car experience was very poor as mentioned car booked was not available When questioned why ? As had pre booked 3 months in advance I was told nothing they could do ? Did not care at tall attitude Car provided was filthy inside & out Tyre pressure warning light was on Had to stop and re inflated tyres Wash front & back windows to actually see out ! Counter staff did not push any up-charges. We appreciated that. And return was fast.

Vehicle was clean and in good condition. Winter tires were in the car as promised. Check in was quick and without any unexpected things. Counter staff explained everything to me. It was quick. Paid 1400 eur deposit from credit card. It was released right after drop off. Brought back with less fuel(forgot to put fuel before arrival), and it was ok me to pay the fuel difference. Drop off was quick also, staff was very helpfull. Then they drive us to the airport. It was first time I rented a car in Italy. And I saw too many very bad experience reviews from others for other rent companies. But then I discovered Centauro with good reviews. And now from my own experience I would 100% recommend this company. Reasonable price and good quality car and service.

Overall service was excellent, no upselling, and the vehicle was clean and fully fueled.
