When I returned the car they said I had taken it with a full tank which I didn’t, it had 1/8 of a tank the same as when I returned. They said I took it clean, but it was dirty when I took it so I didn’t wash it before returning. The car had a low tyre pressure warning when I took it, they said it was a sensor fault and the tyre was ok, but I had to pump it up every day so cost me $8 and a lot of time messing around. You can only sometimes get in the back of the car for your bags as the tailgate mechanism doesn’t work 90% of the time too. Then they said they couldn’t refund my deposit to my credit card as it was a weekend. If I’d known that I wouldn’t have booked. I am still waiting for my deposit to be refunded a week later.....

the car was in a bad technical condition and the car broke down at night in a remote place in north cambodia. we had to find help ourselves and spent the entire next day in a garage, fixing the car for europcar so we can come back safely. the extremely poor maintenance condition did put my family at risk.
