To our surprise Rightcars did not accept our insurance coverage from Canada. we were requested proof of coverage from a US insurance company therefore we were obliged to pay an extra $204.00 US to keep us covered. We have been travelling for over 12 years and it is the first time we encounter this problem. Other rental companies accept that we are covered by an insurance company from Canada. Even though Our insurance company sent them proof of our coverage they did not accept. FIRST AND LAST TIME WE BOOK WITH RIGHTCARS.

“I feel scammed.”

I’m local and showed my own insurance information but the clerk charged me for insurance. I brought my own Sunpass transponder but the clerk charged me $5 daily for “activation fees”. The shuttle took almost 40 minutes to pick us up from the airport. The rental car office facility is literally a shak at a repair shop.

“Easyrentcars needs to stop doing business with Right Cars -- they are a bad company.”

It's a scam. The price seemed good, and they said they require proof of insurance. I brought the proof when I went to get the car, but at the counter they said I needed a half a million worth of coverage (I'm not even kidding) and that I would need to buy their insurance, which was much more than the car rate itself. Of course I turned it down, and will never go again.

“Horrible - walk away from this!!!!”

Horrible experience. Was charged insurance even though it was prepaid through Easyrentcars. They said "this did not appear in their files". Good thing I had my receipt on hand!!! Then they still charged $2000 to my credit card for insurance deductible. Worst Manager ever. Forced to take Sunpass for $10/day. Everyone who came was super pissed off by the experience as well.
