Overall, the car rental experience was satisfactory. The staff noticed our limited English skills and proactively used a translator device without pushing us to buy insurance. The vehicle was a bit old, possibly because we chose the cheapest model. It was quite noisy when driving, and there was one instance where it was hard to start the engine. Thankfully, we completed the trip smoothly.

It took over 2 hours for our car to be ready. That was completely unacceptable.

Good pricing for the rental, however over an hour wait to get to the counter and then no car available, had to wait longer to get the car.

Easy booking, the price match worked and saved some more off the hire.

Car was in great condition and drove very smoothly.

The customer service was kind and helpful, we had no problems at all.

Bit confusing as to who is who in this process; Trip v Bargain v EasyRent? Desk at Hobart not signed so followed map link sent to us in email and ended up in car park at rental kiosk no longer used by anybody. Apart from the confusion on pickup, the experience overall was really good; staff at airport were great and car was clean, economical and very well priced.
