Poor service at Alicante airport desk, car missing basic features such as working wipers

The wait time was too long, but the staff provided great service. It is inside the airport, so it was easy to find.

The counter staff were pushy for insurance as I had it already the lady was then dismissive and failed to give me clear directions to the cars location. The car was eventually found after a lot of walking around with luggage and children. The car would not open so once I managed to find a helpful agent, they arranged a replacement. The replacement was rather tatty with slight damage on all panels, however it did run well. The return process was easy although the refund took a few days.

The delay to pick up was shocking. I had to wait ages. And missed a dinner date with friends because of it. There was no apology when I eventually got to speak to the Centauro staff.

after telling the counter staff I had excess cover and wouldn't be taking the €154 cover they were aggressive, threatening and rude. saying if there was the smallest scratch I would be charged some ridiculous charge. I agreed to the breakdown cover but did ask why I needed breakdown cover and was told I just need it. I will never use them again!
