After picking up your luggage, please follow the signs to the shuttle pick up area. This area is located outside of baggage claim, across the main breezeway, and proceed to the shuttle pick up area behind the rental car booths. The shuttle ride is approximately 4-6 minutes and runs during airport operation hours. Please note- this offsite facility also services the cruise ships. Shuttle from the port runs consistently, about a 15 to 20 min wait. Shuttle returns every hour on the hour until the ship departs or latest 8 pm.

Shuttle buses run every 5 minutes and pick up from behind the ERAC booth, then take the short ride to National Car Rental to pick up your vehicle. Shuttle from the port runs consistently, about 15 to 20 min wait. Shuttle returns every hour on the hour until the ship departs or latest 8 pm.

Staff were great, car was great, the queue to pick up the car was long, and only 2 or 3 staff taking the bookings. Surely the rental company knows exactly how many cars are booked per flight, and can therefore have sufficient staff on hand to deal with the influx. We had prebooked and prepaid, so only had to produce licence and sign off, but still had to wait in queue with others who either hadn't booked at all, or had booked and not paid. It was a long drawn out affair.

The Chevrolet Esquire was absolutely not to the same standard than the Jeep Grand Cherokee originally proposed, in addition Dollar Kauai does not have grand Cherokee Jeeps so this is only a decoy. The Esquire had more than 25’000 miles, smell bad and is an awful car, the personnel was not helpful at all, a terrible experience

The process is smooth and easy. Car is ready when we got there. The lady at the counter wasn't really friendly because she insisted we should buy insurance for the car key which I think is just stupid. I already purchased super protection so I refused to pay more just to insure the car key!

The "surprise car" was a Dodge Caravan. Too big for us as we were only two people. However, it appears that the big car was very useful for us during the trip. The car was not totally clean, lot of dust, mud, and sand inside and outside the car.

Took a long time to clean the car for us on a hot day, car drove well and was spacious but electric boot and electric sliding doors were super annoying and worst of all car leaked gas when filling up. Not ideal for a very expensive rental.

Well started off waiting in line for almost 2 hours. Then they were out of the car I requested, so hot something I didn’t want. The car was so little could barely get luggage in. Car had a miss in transmission when cold, convertible top was very temperamental, and tires all needed air.

Not enough staff at pick up. The counter people were great, but; Support staff seemed dis-engaged and unorganized. Rather than explain the details to each customer, maybe it would be good for everyone waiting in line to be reading the general terms and sign a terms contract based on what they read while waiting. This could cut the wait time in half or more.
