Highly recommend Enterprise in Oxford! Super efficient, cars are very new, and the staff are really nice! This was my first time renting a car overseas, I originally planned to rent at Heathrow Airport, but after some consideration, I chose Oxford instead (one of the best decisions of this trip). There was no queue at all, and I got the exact model I reserved (2023 Mercedes A-Class, great condition). Overseas rentals usually can't guarantee the exact model, only a 'similar class' car, but we were lucky. However, this rental company's cars are generally very new, so even if it's not the exact model, it shouldn't be too bad. Special thanks to Charlie and Felicity. Charlie inspected the car when we returned it, it was quick because we drove carefully and had no scratches, so he quickly confirmed the car's condition and refunded the deposit (within 7 working days). After returning the car, Miss Felicity drove us to a nearby train station, she's super nice and really friendly!

I booked a Mercedes C, but upon arrival, they said it wasn't available and offered a DS instead. I agreed, but then they said the DS wasn't available either and asked if I could take an XC40 with a 15% discount. After a day of driving, the right rear tire kept indicating low pressure.

The car rental company is relatively large, with plenty of staff and excellent service. There are no hidden charges; everything is explained clearly. They let you thoroughly review the contract before confirming the price and signing to pay. Overall, it's always better to rent from major companies. Hidden charges can often be a headache, but with a big company like Enterprise, you don’t need to worry about that.

The pick-up was handled by a polite gentleman who didn't push us to buy insurance. We requested it ourselves, and he explained the benefits of each option, eventually upgrading us to an eight-cylinder car. On the road, a friend drove into a ditch, causing two tires to blow out in a remote part of Scotland. We called for roadside assistance, and expected to miss dinner, but the tow truck arrived in less than 20 minutes. We then got a replacement car at the service station, which, although not as good as the original, allowed us to continue our journey and have dinner on time. Thankfully, we had purchased insurance, so we didn't have to pay anything extra.

The car interior cleanliness is rated 80 points because there were some food crumbs on both the front and rear seats.

The staff at the rental location were quite professional, patiently answering all my questions about vehicle operation. The car was relatively new and easy to handle, which was very helpful for me as a first-time driver of a right-hand drive car. He didn't try to sell me anything, but I decided to add full insurance at the store for peace of mind. It wasn't expensive, just over 100 pounds for 7 days. Because the rural roads in the UK are narrow, I initially wasn't used to it and scratched the wheels. When I returned the car, the staff said they would hold my 500-pound deposit and refund it after the insurance claim. The refund was processed in a few days. Traveling through the Cotswolds without a car would be inconvenient; the most enjoyable part of my trip to the UK was driving through the countryside.

Very satisfied, the car pickup was very simple. While they did recommend insurance, it wasn't forced. I booked a Skoda automatic but got a Passat instead. The trunk was especially large, the seats had heating, and it supported Apple CarPlay. The car was very new and exceeded my expectations.
