Rental office is adjacent to car pick-up (unlike other rental offices at Fiumicino). Friendly staff, good English, quick transparent process. Overall great experience. Metano is hard to find in Italy - try to avoid Sings point to "Autovia" - which is also "Ecovia"

I have never waited so long to get a rental car in my entire life! Over 2 hours, with not many people in line. While I liked the car, it was too big for our purposes, but I was so exhausted from the long wait that I didn't want to exchange the vehicle. I vowed never to rent with Ecovia again! 1 hour into the wait with no movement in the line. Still have not received an explanation or apology for what took so long!

Had to wait for a very long time to pick up, at the desk and then again in the car pound. In all, over 2 hours. Wasn't allocated the car we had booked. Given a larger car, which we did not want. This was more difficult to manoeuvre on narrow roads and used more fuel, so cost us money.
