My name was not separated on my reservation as it showed in my confirmation. It made my first and last name as my first name. Counter person argued with me at 1 am that they couldn’t rent to me because of that. He called a manager to take care of the issue but something like that should have never happened.

Feel like I was miss sold extras at collection. The advisor sold me what I thought was insurance but after taking payment and looking at the payment it appeared to be for breakdown cover and returning the car empty. This cost me 200 dollars which I didn’t require really. Advise all to be cautious on this. They also try to sell you bigger cars and in fact laughed when I said I was happy with my compact car as only 3 of us. The car size was fine. Also tried to sell us toll express for around 100 dollars, said we really needed it . Luckily opted out of this and probably spent 15-20 dollars tops on tolls

Had present experience from pu to drop off. Would have liked Thrifty to be located at the airport rather then off premise.

There was no proper queuing system at the Thrifty shuttle pick up point. We had 8 pieces of luggage (inc car seat and pram) and it was impossible for us to get on the shuttle bus that takes us from the Thrifty drop off office to LAX. The buses that came were either full or people have no consideration that we arrived first. We ended up having to call UberXL.
