Spent forever trying to get my car. Service staff is horribly slow!!!

Not located at airport Returned early due to early departure due to Hurricane Dorian but no refund Additional $170 charge to add additional driver How do you calculate overall score as 2 when everything is checked as a 1? Car was stained Shuttle van was dirty Pickup place at airport difficult to find Attempt to charge $10 for tolls / upon refusal threaten to charge $25 per toll if I didn’t pay the $10/day Required personal insurance coverages page (who carries that?) or force to take Easirent insurance. Not a bargain with added charges. Never again I will only deal with known, reputable companies in the future.

The worst part was to pick up the car. It took really long time. I was forced to pay extra for second driver even if I did not need it. The person at the counter told me because I gave my credit card I have to be added as a driver and pay for it. ( I did not need this option but was forced to take it)As a result our booking costed more then planned. I would not rent with easirent again.

Car had a keyless entry with an almost dead battery. No wiper fluid, windshield was filthy on the inside, and a bumper that was hanging on for dear life. We had to wait over a half hour at airport for the shuttle and again a half hour when we returned the car. What rental makes you wait 1/2 hour when you have a flight to catch. Their recording said they pick up every 15 minutes and they only have 1 van, which makes that impossible. They also made us call our insurance to prove we had collision insurance. They should have told us ahead of time if they wanted us to provide this.

Car was in great shape. No problems. There is an $1800 US deposit for anyone not living in the USA which I think is unheard of. Got stuck getting out of the lot for about 10 minutes during pickup, but that’s mostly just the fault of the customer in front of me refusing to get out of the driveway and there’s no room to get around. Shuttle was easy both ways and fast. Overall great experience.

The booking system did not seem to work well at all and they couldn't process the paperwork properly. Most problematic was the damage deposit, which is not a "hold" as it is with other companies, but was instead a charge, which would then be refunded. This is problematic when dealing with another currency as there is an exchange difference in a refund versus a charge which costs us money. When we complained about this we were told "its company policy" -- of course, why wouldn't it be? -- and then that our alternative was to pay $60 per day. It's just wrong. When checking out I asked to have a copy of the posting so I could be sure that it would be refunded, and I got some paperwork that did not show any amounts.
