The car was relatively new and easy to handle, which was very helpful for me as a first-time driver of a right-hand drive car. He didn't try to sell me anything, but I decided to add full insurance at the store for peace of mind. It wasn't expensive, just over 100 pounds for 7 days. Because the rural roads in the UK are narrow, I initially wasn't used to it and scratched the wheels. When I returned the car, the staff said they would hold my 500-pound deposit and refund it after the insurance claim. The refund was processed in a few days. Traveling through the Cotswolds without a car would be inconvenient; the most enjoyable part of my trip to the UK was driving through the countryside.

Got the car at Gatwick Airport and returned it to the same location. I purchased full insurance at the counter; the service was decent, and the return process was simple. The deposit was refunded quickly. The only issue was the lack of a paper contract. The staff said it would be emailed, but my Sina email never received it, which made me a little worried.
