The booking was easy, simple and verified fully to know we had a car. At Alamo, the staff were extremely efficient and totally professional, they couldn’t do anymore to help us. I say this as I needed to get to and from the train station, whereby they assisted in giving me a ride at pick up and drop off, which was extra to requirements and this courtesy helped us no end. Can’t thank them enough for the assistance given. Totally totally recommended.

I have to say, it was as expected, details placed online and go through the service required and pay at the end. No problems and quite formal, will say that the prices were good and selection of available cars to hire was extremely good.

“Poor rental experience, vehicle was a bait and switch and had to pay for a 2nd rental, total rip”

The picture of the rental was a van and the vehicle type said it sits 7 or more, to all of us we were getting a van, thats what we specified. When we got there they gave us a SUV with a single flip up seat in the back - NO ROOM FOR LUGGAGE and WOULD NOT FIT 7 ADULTS. We had to rent a 2nd car just to fit everyone and the experience was horrible, she didn't know how to fix the problem or how to rent a car at the counter. We had to rent another one online and wait for the reservation to come through to Alamo's system. We were there for 2 hours trying to fix this, it was insane and in the end nothing was complimentary or even reduced in price - total scam, very unhappy with all of this.
