Thrifty’s LAC office is closed due to covid. They didn’t say so on the reservation. Thrifty had a sign that said they were closed, but didn’t tell me I needed to go to Hertz to pick up the car. Better communication would be helpful!

I could’ve given a perfect 10 rating if it wasn’t for the counter staff at thrifty. He was so pushy in selling us the insurance coverage despite us paying it through easy car rentals, which could’ve resulted to paying twice on insurance. The queue was getting long for the other customers and he still carried in with his upsells.

The counter staff lied to our faces, about extra insurances and gas prices and tried to bill an additional $100usd. Useless. Dishonest. Will not use thrifty again.
