Budget has always been a very reliable rental company.

After 3 weeks into the 11 week hire the vehicle dashboard stated "Maintenance required, return to dealer" I called budget who advised me "take the vehicle to an international airport and exchange " My time and expense I exchanged at Utah International, Budget didn't have an equivalent so they sent me to Avis , they tried to give me a smaller vehicle but I insisted on the same (Rav4) which they eventually found . My visa credit card was immediately charged . Due to unforseen circumstances I had to return home 3 weeks earlier , I informed the Budget office of this , the date an time so they would be expecting me . I returned the vehicle and got a invoice for over $10,000 triple my original quote and I'd already paid more than half already . It took several phone calls and 3 weeks ( different answers each time ) to eventually get this sorted , albeit over £300 more than the original quote , no apology for the inconvenience of exchanging and conflicting advice to change . Not a happy customer .

Every email I sent there was a quick professional response which I appreciated.

Like: I have to say that Ms Cheryl at Budget was the best customer service rep for a car rental i have ever experienced!!!
Dislike: Everything was really great!!!!
