Overall ended up happy with vehicle we ended up using although it cost a lot more than budget.

Specific vehicle hired was not avaliable at pick up. We had specifically wanted a 4 wheel drive as we planned on going to the snow. We offered a 2 wheel drive as an alternative which was not what we were after. Unfortunately had to pay for an upgrade but did get a good discount although it was still expensive for a two week hire.

“no hassles with a bit of delay”

ended up upgrading the car to a larger vehicle. there was a bit of a wait to pick-up, but otherwise the process was good and friendly. The car had not be cleaned before hire (rubbish inside and obviously still dirty on the outside).

Car was practically new and drove like dream. Very spacious and kids loved it too. So was very happy. However price was a bit higher than I anticipated. Booking price got increased by $100 at least.

Booked car seats for kids and a baby but when I got to pick the car up there was only one car seat coming up this additional cost at collection.

budget refused to rent a car to me because they refused to accept my license. I had just rented a car 2 weeks prior with the same license. Terrible customer service and rude agents.
