The best part is, we were supposed to return the car at 11 AM since we picked it up at 11 AM, but because it was a Saturday and the tax refund office opened at 10 AM, we knew we couldn't return the car on time. We were still driving from Austria to Switzerland! Then we called the return service and informed them we'd be late, asking how much extra it would cost. He asked how late we'd be, and we said around 1 PM. He said 'No problem, it's OK, no extra charge.' Wow! When we arrived, we couldn’t find a gas station on the way to return with a full tank. The front desk staff was very friendly and told us there was a self-service station across the street and an attended one around the corner if we needed help. He even mentioned that gas is expensive here and it wouldn’t be cost-effective for us. Exceptional service! We filled up the tank, returned the car in a minute, everything went smoothly. Highly recommended!

The day I picked up the car was a Sunday, and the rental store only opened at 2 PM. I arrived at 12:30 PM and had to wait over an hour for them to open, which was really a waste of time. When renting a car, I suggest avoiding picking up on weekends, especially in less popular cities.

I booked the mini-van based on the description and people and luggage it can accommodate. But when we reached the pickup location, Europcar informed us that the car will be too small for us. Then I had to pay extra to upgrade. The Multi-van that we got was terrible. Too hard to drive and the car seats could not be moved back and forth. Europcar also tried pretty hard to sell their insurance even though I'd bought it from Easyrentcars.com.
