QEEQ suddenly notified us that Hertz wouldn't be open at 6 AM, which was quite surprising. However, we weren't planning to wake up that early anyway. When we arrived at the store, it felt very professional and the instructions were clear. They also provided some advice regarding refueling. Since we had a long drive ahead, we decided to add extra insurance voluntarily. The car pickup process was very quick. Additionally, they thoughtfully told us we could return the car at 8 AM the next day if we wouldn't make it in the evening, with no extra charge. This added more flexibility to our trip.

Exact car model as booked. Super friendly and relaxed staff. I just needed my passport, driving license and credit card and got the keys. Drop off was very easy. Returned full, quick check of the vehicle and the deposit was released. Very positive experience. No upsell at the counter they just made me aware that I had basic insurance but didnt try to sell any extras.

I’ve got a Hertz profile for insurance requested, yet the counter staff confused the options without giving details. “Take excellent or good”, but no details of the packages. Several hundred dollars were added for fear I wasn’t covered properly
