The service was quick, and the cars were brand new and very clean.

AVIS has many branches, most airports have one, so it's very convenient. Returning the car is easy; just park it in the designated area and drop off the key. But make sure to return it with a full tank. They will try to sell you insurance similar to a no-deductible policy. If you've already bought full coverage insurance from your home country, you don’t need it. Otherwise, it’s smarter to buy it, as you might encounter wildlife like kangaroos on the Great Ocean Road.

Counter staff wasn't that friendly and seemed not so happy that we purchased the add-on comprehensive insurance via EasyRentCars platform instead of directly through Avis. Car didn't meet our expectations as we booked an Intermediate Corrolla but were given a Compact Hatchback Corrolla instead. Only noticed this once we reached the pickup bay area and were too lazy to walk back, dragging luggage & our small children, to Avis counter inside the Terminal to get the car changed.

The booking platform is great and the Price Drop monitoring features is amazing.
