There are a few rental companies whose names instantly make me feel at ease, and Avis is one of them. Big brands usually mean more reliable service. But this time the drop-off location info was a mess, and I couldn’t get through on the phone after trying multiple times—the branch number was basically useless. That’s why I can’t give a full 5 stars.

I waited for half an hour in the parking lot to get the car. The service attitude was good, and they promised to refund 30 euros as compensation. It's been three days since I returned the car, and I haven't received the refund yet. The gas tank was not full when I picked up the car, and the staff promised to reimburse me for the difference when I returned it. They only asked if there were any issues, and that was the end of it. To avoid future disputes, I took photos and videos of the entire car during pick-up and return. However, the parking lot was too dark, so the recording was just for peace of mind.

Very friendly

I rented a white automatic GOLF, the car was in excellent condition, almost new, and no deposit was required, just a tank of gas. When I picked it up, the odometer showed only 237 kilometers. The staff told me I was lucky. Returning the car was very convenient; since it was after 11 PM, there was no staff, so I parked the car in the AVIS parking lot and left the keys in the box. The only regret was that I had to search for the parking lot entrance for 2 hours since it was so late.
