Returning a car at Paris North Station is quite troublesome and the process is somewhat inefficient. Other aspects are fine, but the tire pressure was low and the car wasn't very clean inside.

The service attitude of the car rental company was quite good, and QEEQ customer service intervened very promptly. Initially, we went to Terminal 1 to find the car rental company, but we were informed by the staff that all car rental companies at Terminal 1 were closed. However, the pickup address on the slip was not updated to Terminal 2, which wasted nearly an hour. Fortunately, the subsequent pickup process was smooth. We booked a Citroen C3, but the store upgraded us for free to a Peugeot 2008 SUV with less than 30k mileage.

Rented the car at CDG Airport T2 and returned it at T1. I booked a station wagon but received a Citroën C4 instead. It accommodated four people, three 22-inch suitcases, one 20-inch suitcase, and some soft bags, with no room to spare. The trunk seemed smaller compared to the Opel station wagon I rented before, which could fit four 20-inch suitcases and one 22-inch suitcase. The Citroën C4 had a 1.6T turbo engine, was fuel-efficient and performed well. The car came with GPS and was almost new with less than 4,000 kilometers on it. At return, the customer service agent thoroughly inspected the car with a flashlight, which was the first time I encountered such diligence in my years of self-driving. The contract stated to return the car with a full tank, but I got it with three-quarters of a tank. When returning, I filled the tank and drove another 40 kilometers, essentially returning it full. It is important to take pictures and clearly communicate with the staff during pick-up and drop-off to avoid any misunderstandings about the fuel level.

Picked up the car from CDG airport without problem. Tested fine except noisy wheel and braking. 1 hour into the journey, problem of the braking system got worse. Called the technical support and offered 2 options: car tow without replacement or drive back to the airport for a swap. We chose to drive back with slowly to the airport to avoid accident. Countered already closed after midnight. Rented hotel room at the airport at our own cost and got the car replaced the next day. The staffs said the car was checked and certified before handed over to us and will do another round of testing and will give us the report.
