Pick and go

I returned the car a day earlier than planned. Although I wasn’t expecting it, Dollar proactively refunded me for that extra day—very impressive. Regarding service, the counter staff were fine. However, there wasn’t much assistance during pickup and return; one person just shouted a few things loudly and disappeared, leaving me unsure of what was said. I eventually figured it out after asking for clarification. Part of the confusion was also due to my lack of experience as it was my first time renting a car, and my limited English skills didn't help.

The car assignment was too arbitrary. There should at least be some sense of contractual obligation.

The front desk service was okay, neither indifferent nor enthusiastic.

No charges for returning the car 5 hours late, everything went smoothly.
