It was actually quite easy to find and very convenient. However, I thought it would be a pure petrol manual car, but I was given a hybrid car. The staff who checked the car during the return was very thorough.

Apart from the fact that the car we received was dirty and hadn't been cleaned properly, everything else was fine. There was no hard sell of expensive insurance. We added full coverage at the counter for 20 euros a day, which met our expectations, and for safety, we opted for full coverage. Adding an extra driver was 10 euros a day. The translation booklet from QEEQ allowed us to rent with a domestic driver's license. Remember to ask for the exact return address, as the one provided by QEEQ was not accurate. We refueled about 10-20 km away from the return spot. During the inspection, they said the tank wasn't full, and we had to either pay 100 euros or fill it up ourselves. We drove back and added 7 euros of fuel nearby, so it's best to refuel close to the return location.

Pre-booked the car with all the required information and joined the priority queue at the Sicily by Car rental desk. There were 2 agents dealing with rentals but it still took over 1.5 hours to get to the desk ! When I got to the desk they had run out of car keys; 1 agent went to source more keys and the other agent went for a break. Following a further 15 to 20 minute delay I started the paperwork. eventually after nearly 1.75 hours we were given our keys; nearly as long as our two hour flight from the UK !!! As a family who had pre-booked this wasn't a great experience. Additionally I had pre-booked two child seats which the agent appeared to know nothing about, a call was made an I was told there would be two seats in the vehicle. On arrival at the vehicle pick up there were no car seats in our vehicle, another 20 minute delay !!! come on Sicily by Car get your act together.
