Hertz has many service points. We picked up the car in downtown Vancouver, and the process was simple. The reserved model was unavailable, so we got an upgrade to a Golf with only 600KM mileage. My companion initially complained about having to break in a new car (which consumes more fuel during this period), but after 10 days of driving without any issues, it was very satisfying!

I would appreciate it if your staff was more aware of 3rd party booking conditions. Also, I don’t appreciate your staff automatically tacking on a 2 hour charge at drop off when I was on time. I don’t think that I should have to contest a charge that clearly wasn’t necessitated.

Your re-booking for a better price was excellent. I certainly recommended friends to you when this happened. Also, details about what to expect, and what I should avoid when dealing with the car rental company were very much appreciated.
