Downgraded with no reason

The car was due a service and the driver airbag didn’t work. Car wasn’t safe to drive.

Worst experience in the past 10 years. I was refused to pay by debit card and given no option but to buy again the insurance at double the price I already paid online- €15/day because I didn't have a credit card. Charged an out of hours fee for dropping off the car before 8:00. Pushed into hiring a tag for motorway at €1.85/day when I had to pay the tolls anyway and could have done without it as you could pay with cash or card at pay points. I felt bullied and ripped off. Only had a Toyota Aygo with no cruise control, no parking sensors no key remote lock, but I paid the price for a large premium car. Never ever will use this company nor reccomend to anyone.

The booking was all right- all good and thank you for all the options and smoothness of the booking.

Terrible experience and total rip off Merchants by charging extra car insurance and £200 for road tolls. Too late to question bill as we had a flight to catch, but absolutely no way we drove through £200 worth of tolls! Disgusting and please be aware that this company is not based at the airport as stated!

I was charged €175 for a mark no more than 1mm x 2mm. It was a new car and I was told it had no damage. In dark would not have seen this mark. I have rented with Surprice before and cars were covered in scratches, bumps etc. Though new, the indicator was faulty, gear knob had not been fitted correctly. Never renting from them again
