This was my first time renting a car overseas, and I was very satisfied with Budget! We originally rented a Mondeo, but the staff noticed we had a lot of luggage and offered to upgrade us to a Volkswagen with a larger trunk for just 7 euros more per day. This turned out to be the right decision. The car was in excellent condition; it was a diesel and had only 7800 kilometers on it, making it very fuel-efficient. We drove 1700 kilometers in total and spent 138 euros on fuel. Returning the car was also very easy and hassle-free. The staff inspected the car and immediately processed the return. The simplicity exceeded our expectations.

At Munich Airport, Budget operates with AVIS. They provided a higher configuration, the car was in good condition, and the price was affordable, making it a great value for money.

The car was clean and new. I would recommend this car for people in buisness trips. Pick-up and drop-off was very fast and comfy.
