Very nice, got a mazda 3 sports 2020, very good condition

The car was not ready when I arrived. It was washed while I was waiting. My pickup time was for 8 am and I was only able to drive off from the pickup location at 9 am. The drop off in the other hand, took only 5 min. The car was clean, but it had a warning sign turned on. I was told that everything was fine and not to worry about it, that it was just that the mechanic forgot to reset the code for it. Otherwise, I had no problems during my trip.

Le véhicule de location était en mauvais état et avait une odeur très désagréable. Il a été changé pour un modèle olus petit et sale intérieurement. J'ai du nettoyer les vitres. A la restitution du véhicule, j'ai été chargé deux fois ainsi que le carburant alors que j'avais fait le plein...

Car was provided with empty tank, and we had to pump one wheel 4 times during our renting period!!! No issues besides that.

Mazda 3 instead of Chevrolet Cruze. Good car

SUV is awesome, nice car convenient specially in Canada during Winter. Spacious seats and compartment. Comfortable to drive, easy to use touchscreen Display. Overall all superb experiences.

I waited 1 hour 45 mins just for pickup since there were many bookings and no staff. Had to wait outside in winter since there was no space to even get inside the showroom. Finally got my vehicle at 6.45pm. very painful.

The office shuts at 8pm which was a bit inconvenient from drop off as we had a late flight.

We have rented from Discount several times and have always found the staff and vehicles to be excellent.

Should not be charged for excess kilometres inside Canada when the booking clearly says unlimited kilometres.

We spent over 2 hours waiting for the car.

La voiture n'a pas dépassé nos attentes, bien au contraire. Les feux de croisement étaient mal réglés et il s'agit de feux qui se règlent mécaniquement (il n'y a pas de bouton de réglage dans l'habitacle). Nous n'avons donc rien pu faire et avons été obligés de rouler en feux de route à chaque fois que cela a été possible. La batterie de la voiture était naze et nous a lâchée. Le véhicule s'est même complètement arrêté une fois au beau milieu de la route! Les essuie-glaces auraient eu grand besoin d'être changés.

The car actually exceeded my expectations! Great car. It was however stressful to pick it up, and it took way longer than expected. Dropping off the car was a nightmare, as the parking lot was full and blocked the entrance.

They exceeded my expectations and were friendly. The vehicle was amazing and the drive was memorable.

Waited a little longer then normal to get the car. Team needs to make sure the rental will be ready because they didn't even have the reservation in the system. Almost didn't get the car at all.

I paid extra to upgrade to a superior, larger vehicle which was a good decision given the amount of mileage we did. I enjoyed driving the vehicle although the windscreen wash reservoir was nearly empty so I had to replenish this by day two of the rental. The drop off location is clear to find, but made difficult by the amount of road works and road closures in the vicinity.

Wait time for pick up from airport was far too long, company wouldn’t answer phone so shuttle bus never came, waited for over 1hr before eventually sending a bus not big enough to fit everyone who was waiting

Good job! But I haven’t received my bill yet. And the deposit hasn’t been unlocked from my credit card yet.

The windscreen wipers were unsafe they were so bad and we needed them quite a lot. A vehicle manual was not provided in English but we assume the spanner symbol that came on prior to drop off meant the car needed a service as the engine/car performance was not adversely affected.

Personnel peu agréable, voiture prêtée dans un état lamentable sale, cabossée de partout, pneus uses. Nous avons refusé de prendre le véhicule et avons demandé d'en avoir une autre. Cela a pris une bonne heure mais nous avons obtenu gain de cause.

The cars smells when I picked it up. I had to buy some odor spray. The guy convinced me to buy another insurance even though I've bought the super insurance package.

Discount car rental gave us the incorrect information as to where to get their pick up shuttle. Once we got to their counter the wait time was very long even though I was the first in line. Counter employees never acknowledged me and were busy doing other tasks (on the phone ). Car had lots of pre-existng damages.

La voiture était en fait une Hyundai Santa fe xl. La carrosserie était sale et très rayée . Le personnel était agréable et tout c est passé . Pour récupérer la voiture nous avons appelé mais peut être ce serait mieux d indiquer directement l emplacement du bus navette que de demander d appeler car la ligne était saturée .

Voiture sale! Les miroirs électriques de cotes ne fonctionnaient pas. Avait encore des pneus d'hiver, donc était bruyant!

Excellent value and got a free upgrade

Pas obtenu le modèle Hundai Santa Fe. Délai trop long pour la récupération du véhicule à l'arrivée (environ 1h30). Intérieur du véhicule non nettoyé.

They added "mandatory fees" that raised the price by 55%!!!! Discount Car is a SCAM!!! STAY AWAY

Attente relativement longue, mais surclassement

There was a lot if waiting to get back the car, because on monday morning. Otherwise, it was very good.

Ce n'était pas une jeep Compass mais un modèle pas très reluisant de Jeep patriot. La voiture était sans aucune option, rouillée et cabossée et les fauteuils tachés. Pour trouver l'endroit de la navette pour rejoindre l'agence de location, il suffirait de l'indiquer au moment de la réservation plutôt que de demander de téléphoner à l'agence qui ne répond pas mais qui bascule sur un répondeur téléphonique. Comme il faisait nuit, l'agent qui s'est occupé de la réservation n'a pas voulu venir inspecter la voiture. Il a fallu que je me rende à la voiture que j'en fasse le tour avec la lampe de mon téléphone et que je revienne au comptoir pour indiquer toutes les marques qu'il y avait sur la voiture.

Took us 90 minuts to get the car - which was not ready when we eventually reached the counter. Had to wait 15 minuts more to get the car. It was dirty with dog's hair, had to clean it again, fuel tank was empty (though rated 8/8 on the contract), so we had to full it at once, and 4 days later we found out that one of the tires was dangerous, so we had to have it changed - we lost more than half a day on our trip waitkng for this to be fixed, and pay 135 cad though we were not responsible... no possibility to ger our money back, we should have seen it earlier as we have been told... I ´d rather loose some money than have an accident because the tire bursts, but I think they should check this thongs more carefully when people brings cars back.

Got a great car with more space than expected, super clean, great fuel economy, staff at the counter was fast and effective, it took about 15 minutes for me to get the car and be on my way, much faster than other branches I've been to before. Drop off was even faster. Absolutely recommend!

Petit bureau pas toujours facile a trouver. Pas de mauvaise surprise location sans probleme

After a rather terrible experience with one of the larger name car rental companies, I had some concerns about getting another. Luck transpired to provide Discount Car & Truck Rentals - while a ridiculously low price (around ~£150 less than the nearest big name company for the same class of vehicle) usually means some kind of lacking in customer service, they were absolutely perfect all the way through. No trouble on pick-up/drop-off, flawless documentation of prior damage, I'm almost certain they let me off the fee for cross-border transit and were even kind enough to drive me back to the bus-stop with a side trip to the supermarket to pick up supplies for my ex-pat colleagues back home. If I am ever in need of a motor in an area that this company covers (Canada and Northern US states), I will for sure without question use them again.

Had to wait over an hour at rental store to rent. Pre paid for the car and then was told I had to pay significant amount more. I had to no choice but to pay. Car was dirty inside and outside , trash left in the car. Got going on my trip and was waiting for the car to cool down with air conditioner, only to find that it did not work. Was in rush hour traffic so I could not turn around to get a new car. Terrible experience overall.
