The staff at the rental office was excellent, noting all the issues with the vehicle. When I rented the car, the fuel tank wasn't full. I wonder if I will get a refund for the fuel I left when I return the car with a full tank?

Had to change the car as the sliding door cable kept getting stuck in the door at the pick up point...

Had a long wait to collect the car from Hertz standing in the queue with up sell to go premium and jump to the front. Tried to sell additional insurance to me using scare tactics despite explaining I had an annual policy covering the excess and didn’t want it. Car was clean except on front where washer fluid was probably spilt during a top-up. Taking photos of the condition of the car and emailing to the customer is a nice innovation by Hertz. Car was problem free throughout hire. Dropping off the car was super easy and quick. If only the collection could be like this.
