Staff in office was rude. Goldcar took an extra £100 on pickup and only refunded £70. On drop off with no explanation of why. Terrible service and will never use again.

Long wait to collect car. I booked out of hours as said office was shut but was open but still had to pay a extra €40 to cover out of hours.

Easy to book and the auto rebooking feature saved me some money too. Booked agin for next family trip.

Want my money back please. This people are Thieves. Wanted to charge $140 on top of what i hace already paid. Wanted to charge $2000 to my credit card and block it. All this for a 12 hour car rent. Goldcar. Horrible service, tried to take advantage of you. Never use this Rent-a-Car Service. Thieves! I didnt use their service at the end. Went with AVIS. More serious people.

Hello. Im renting another car today with you guys (AVIS) because of the horrible experience i had yesterday with the thieves at GOLDCAR. Rented for $25 a day. GoldCar said i have to pay $150 a day. They blamed on you. Would you please refund the money for the “rental” i didnt do yesterday. (Ref 71452633). Staff were friendly. On negative side, the high and unclear extra costs at the pickup desk were a surprise. When I asked how the €125 extra costs were broken down, I was told something like " €65 fuel (seems dear and I only used a half tank), €25 fuel service charge (?) and remainder in taxes(?)". Also, when I afterwards looked at documents they gave me, no written breakdown was included. These costs should all have been made clear at the time I was booking. This is my only real complaint about booking.

The engine was 1.3 too small for driving on steepy roads we didn’t feel safe We spend nearly an hour at the counter as I wasn’t expecting full to empty policy on fuel and a large deposit of £1200 for such a small car plus non refundable charge of £26 . at the end the car costs me £70 for a rubbish car We did not use it around only driving from/to the airport. The staff at the counter was rude and not helpful Never hire a car from them again
