Returning the car in Lyon was relatively smooth, with minor hiccups in locating the parking lot. After initially parking in an adjacent lot, I walked to find the exact location. The return process was quick. Overall, I would rent from Eurocar again. Additionally, I had booked a Citroen C3 but was given a spacious Fiat SUV at pickup. The reverse gear on the Fiat manual transmission requires lifting a ring on the gear lever before shifting into first gear. Since I hadn't driven a Fiat before, I asked a passing driver for help. I received a lot of friendly assistance along the way, such as help with refueling, paying highway tolls, and parking on the roadside.
