Didnt get a car, Hertz was 15 cars short. Ridiculous!

The rental was not booked as the required pick up/drop off times. As we were delayed with several days notice none of the phone numbers provided were operational. Phoned all, each time recieved message "the phone number dialed is not an operational number" so unable to extend

Booked a mid size SUV specifically to fit our luggage. As soon as the rental clerk realised we didn’t need the additional insurance we were palmed off with a smaller SUV than needed. No pre inspection by the staff, couldn’t be bothered, luckily I always take extensive photos and videos as on returning the vehicle the inspection guy stated that I should have highlighted the parking dents and scratches before hand. Luckily I have photos on pickup and drop off. Beware!

We originally booked for Chrysler Pacifica but due to some problems with the assigned car we were offer Nissan Pathfinder, we are happy with the alternative arrangements We were told by phone earlier that Hertz can pick us up at rainbow bridge when we enter US from Canada, but when called again when we arrived at the exit of rainbow bridge we were told that the journey would take more than 15 min and it is outside the pick up range
