Based on my experience this time, I chose Alamo primarily because of its high rating of 9.8. My actual experience matched the rating. Another reason is that both pickup and drop-off are located within the walkable area of the airport, which is very convenient. During pickup, although there was no one at the counter initially, a staff member arrived within about 5 minutes after a phone call to complete the process. There were no insurance upsell attempts, and they informed me that if any issues arise, I would need to claim with my domestic insurance company. There was no additional payment for upgraded services. The pickup spot is located in the parking lot just below the arrival level at Brisbane Airport, which is extremely convenient—just a few steps away. For drop-off, it was also inside Sydney Airport, but it's important to pay attention and not miss the correct turn. The car I got was quite new, with a mileage of 16,000 km. Although it was a small car, it came with auxiliary features like cruise control. The power was sufficient and perfectly adequate as long as you avoid gravel roads.

Pick-up/drop-off method "In terminal" is misleading as the actual location is at car-rental section. Child seats should be properly installed instead of expecting client who is not familair to install them.

Staff was very helpful and getting the car was a smooth process. The car itself was fantastic. The only issue is limited boot depth which doesn't allow for a pram + large luggage. Large luggage was kept in the back passenger seat. This is not an issue with the car, but maybe a point to note for future renters.

Only complaint was no parking spots for alamo available on drop-off. Drive a few laps of the car park before being flagged down by a staff member who happened to be doing a return. Once he took the car the drop-off process was super quick. Everything else went great!

Didn't get a chance to see the price drop protector in action, but the price was good and couldn't fault the booking process - paper and hassle free!

I was observing the staff who attended to me and the one next to me.. That customer was from the U. S as u had overheard the conversion.. And was treated way better than I was treated, maybe because of my name and race I suppose I could be wrong but since you ask for feedback I'm just providing it.i was as if I was talking to a robot that's how I felt. Nothing else. I'm from customer service even till now it's very important you make all customers irregardless of who they are must make them feel that they are all very important.
