Great experience, vehicle was upgraded at no charge (luck of the draw I guess) it was a relatively smooth experience.

We waited for over an hour to be picked up at the airport. I called several times, but the call wasn't answered each time. As you can imagine, this was a bit distressing on arriving in a foreign country. The car itself was fine, apart from one of the tires was inflated to only 21psi, the others were 46psi. I didn't notice this until we started driving so I had to inflate this twice during the car hire. The brakes on the car were quite poor as well. Routes attempted to sell us a car toll sticker for $12 a day, saying that there were many toll roads in Orlando. We didn't have to pay a single toll, despite driving every day of our holidays.

We called and went immediately to the exact pickup stop and sat within 10 feet of the sign for pickup. The pickup van never came. I called and they said that the van had broken down and then another van would be there in 10 minutes. No van appeared. I called again after 20 minutes and they said a van would be there within 10 minutes. No van appeared after 20 minutes. I called again and rechecked that we are at the correct place and they said a van would be there in 10 minutes. No van appeared and within 20 minutes I called again but they only had an answering machine. I continue to call until midnight and we finally left and got a car with no problem from thrifty Rent-A-Car right inside the airport.

This was a cluster mess. We wasted a half a day in order to get a vehicle that would work for our needs. We arrive they did not have the jeep that we reserved, I requested i this was a cluster mess. We arrive they did not have the jeep that we reserved, The vehicle they gave us was way too small, and not the Jeep we reserved , we request a larger vehicle they try to charge us for it , The lady at the counter said she cannot upgrade until the manager got back we come back in 2 to 3 hours , When we return there is a different gentleman there and he tried to take care of us because they were going to give us a little bit larger vehicle. But what really made us bad was as we are waiting for that vehicle the couple next to us who only have one bag in a carry on bag with them the gentleman said sir I’m sorry we don’t have your midsize car so we’re gonna have to upgrade you they have giving them up the big full-size SUV that we asked for three hours earlier customer service is horrible this operation was terrible charge but what really made us bad was as we are waiting for that vehicle the couple next to us who only have one bag in a carry on bag with them the gentleman said sir I’m sorry we don’t have your midsize car so we’re gonna have to upgrade you they have giving them up the big full-size SUV that we asked for three hours earlier customer service is horrible this operation was terrible Then come to find out that there was toll violations on that vehicle

Like: I rented a Nissan Rogue, but ended up with a Jeep Wrangler with navigation. Our flight was delayed and the airport was a MESS. By the time we made it to the rental place, it was 4 to 5 hours after my expected pickup. They didn't have any Rogue's left but they gave me the Jeep for the same price. It was a nice unexpected surprise after all the other travel issues. It was clean, new and Awesome! Thank you for a sweet week! Car got lots of attention and compliments
Dislike: Need an awning for the drop off for when it is raining and you have to do the vehicle check in.
