There were two staff members at the pickup location, but one lady processed everything very slowly. I arrived at Brisbane Domestic Airport at 8 AM and had a 9 AM car pickup reservation. However, the wait time (waiting for the two customers ahead of me) and my own processing took a total of 50 minutes. I didn't get the car until 9:50 AM. Aside from the slow pickup process and the difficulty in finding the drop-off lane, everything else was great. There's no upselling, the car was in good condition, and the staff was diligent and responsible.

Picking up and dropping off the car was very smooth. Driving within the national park was very convenient and free. However, be sure to check if the pre-authorization is refunded. In my case, the pre-authorization was wrongly charged despite paying the full rental amount upfront. It was only resolved after QEEQ customer service rechecked it. The car's condition was average; the backup camera was broken, and the car had several damages when picked up. Make sure to record a video!

The car pickup and return process was quick and efficient, which was great. However, the staff left promptly at closing time, so some minor issues were unresolved. Later, coordination was handled through QEEQ.

It's the worst experience I have when renting a car. I will never rent a car in this company again. I guess when I book a car in a serious company, they will respect all the conditions when I booked it, but this "serious company" charged me extra charges (100 AUD) when I picked up the car simply because I picked up the car at the airport and they gave silly justifications about that. However, how I paid a part of the amount when I booked the car because they did not give me another option, I could not cancel the car because I was going to lose that payment. It is not the first time that I booked a car at the airport and other companies never charged me ghost rates, but unfortunately it was the first time I used Thrifty. I will never use this fucking company again.
