Overly enthusiastic... The pickup time was faster than other car rentals I've experienced before. However, they strongly pushed for additional insurance, even though we had already purchased full coverage.

Returning the car was unbelievably easy. Park the car, and within 5 seconds someone comes to assist. They check the mileage and fuel gauge, and then you're done! When renting, they offer various upgrades like advanced models, fuel purchase options, and extra insurance. Just decline them all.

Just as you name implies, Easy Rent it was!

Four days into the rental, I found that a tire had a slow leak. I had to refill the tires every 5 days after that. When I called Hertz, I was told to just come in and that they would replace my vehicle...no problem. But when I got there, I had to spend over an hour...no vehicle except very small vehicles was available and worse than that I was told in robotic fashion bothy by the agent and manager that "according to protocol" I was responsible for repair of the leak. They would not listen to reason or the particulars of my story. This was extremely frustrating. This is not what I expect from a customer-friendly place.
