They tried to sell insurance, fuel purchase, and vehicle upgrades, but it was fine when I declined. Both pick-up and return were quick and convenient.

Although it's during the pandemic, it didn't affect the car rental service.

Excellent service. Since it was my first time driving on a toll highway and I didn't know how to pay, a Hertz employee was very helpful and called to pay the toll for me when I returned the car. I'm truly grateful; they saved me a lot of money. For future visitors driving in the U.S., if you don't want to take the highway, set the GPS to avoid highways. If you're okay with highways, remember that at toll booths, you have to exit the main line to pay and then merge back in.

Customer service at car rental was unsatisfactory. Car exterior and interior was dirty and filthy upon pick up. They also did not make any attempts to address my concerns about it. I will never rent from Hertz EVER again.
