Great service

The return process was very considerate, and the staff patiently guided us despite the crowded parking level.

The service was good, but the car we picked up at the Vancouver airport location was a bit old. Later, when driving to Seattle, a thief shattered the car window. We contacted QEEQ customer service, and after they communicated with Hertz, we were told to go directly to the Seattle airport location to exchange for another car, which was in better condition than the original one. Even though it was already past midnight, the car exchange process went smoothly.

Car over all was very clean but found old food like smarties and cornflakes under the seat from previous renters. Also I was unable to reach the Hertz local branch by calling their local line of the Toronto Airport. Kept connecting me to their general line and could not get a hold of anyone to let them know that I can't find their location.

The pick up location was incorrect and caused a lot of undue frustration. The rental cars were in Terminal 1 and not Terminal 3 of the airport.

Like: We were offered an upgrade to a 2018 Volstwagon Passat which had more leg room and trunk space than the booked car. We were very happy with the fuel efficiency, how the car drove and quality of the vehicle.
Dislike: We were under the assumption that Hertz would fill the tank for us at their discounted rate, however didn't know that they would charge us for a full tank regardless of how much fuel was in there.
