The service attitude was very good. They only recommended one insurance plan, but when I declined, they didn't push further. I got a hybrid Outlander, but it turned out to be quite fuel-intensive. At first, I thought the battery was broken, but later realized it was a plug-in hybrid. Since my rental period was short, I simply treated it as a regular fuel car and didn't bother charging it.

The vehicle exceeded my expectations. The check-in service was prompt, efficient, very helpful and extremely courteous.

The car pickup point at Paris Montparnasse is a bit tricky for those unfamiliar with the area because there are no signs or indicators on the street. You need to go down to the metro station parking area to find the rental company's office, which is easily noticeable. The staff at the office are very friendly and will explain the specifics of renting, such as which fuel to use and the extra charges for late returns. Overall, very professional. Returning the car in Lyon was relatively smooth, with minor hiccups in locating the parking lot. After initially parking in an adjacent lot, I walked to find the exact location. The return process was quick. Overall, I would rent from Eurocar again. Additionally, I had booked a Citroen C3 but was given a spacious Fiat SUV at pickup. The reverse gear on the Fiat manual transmission requires lifting a ring on the gear lever before shifting into first gear. Since I hadn't driven a Fiat before, I asked a passing driver for help. I received a lot of friendly assistance along the way, such as help with refueling, paying highway tolls, and parking on the roadside.

The actual status of car is provided in the statement of return after vehicle is returned, however the same should be more helpful to be shared at start to make driver aware about existing limitations or damages if any.

Price protector didn't got me any benefit ☺️.

Euro par wouldn’t accept my insurance covered by our credit card - I have never had this issue before. Therefore cost well exceeded expected cost.
