I was very satisfied with this self-drive car rental experience. National Car Rental provided efficient and considerate service. When I returned the car, I mistakenly parked at the domestic departure terminal instead of the international terminal. Despite communication barriers and unfamiliarity with the roads, their staff patiently came to my location and reassured me with 'No problem'. This made the rental experience exceptionally good.

Not bad. Quick pickup, the store is right at the airport. Once you exit the customs hall, turn right. The Thai people are very warm and friendly.

Because we wanted to drop the car off a few hours later than pick up, National made us make a second reservation for the same day and charged double the rate of our original reservation. Come to find out after paying all the extra and spending an hour at the booth we could have cancelled everything and rebooked for 3 days instead of 2 and a separate one and spent way less. It was a really poor experience. Also because we were told and required to do it the way we did our second reservation was a nicer car but we were downgraded to the car of the first

Like: Getting the car was super easy, came out of the Arrival gates, went to National Rental counter, filled up the formalities and hoped on the ride, all in less than 10 minutes. Car was in pristine condition, no irritating sounds or glitches, superb sound system. I would highly recommend National based on my experience.
